Meet Our Team
The Rehabilitation Department at The Kidz Korner works to maximize the functional
potential of each child across all
developmental domains, including
physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and dysphagia services.
The rehab staff addresses impairments and/or functional limitations while
advancing the
child´s strengths. With the interdisciplinary team the rehab staff addresses any impairments and /or
functional limitations.
Our therapists are well
equipped with the knowledge
and expertise to handle a
wide spectrum of diagnoses
in the pediatric setting,
especially with the medically-
fragile population.
Therapeutic Recreational Activities Director
Paula has been an employee at Kidz Korner for 5 years, the last year and a half as Director of Therapeutic Recreational Activities. She has both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Leisure Services from Florida State University. Paula played Varsity tennis at FSU and continued on at the professional level after graduating, both in playing and teaching. She is an avid photographer and enjoys singing, playing piano and guitar and writing music. Paula is married with 2 children in college. Her love of children with medical complexities began early in her adult life as her own daughter was born with a chronic disease. Her passion and love for the residents at Kidz Korner is endless and she strives every day to give them entertainment and fun.

Physical Therapists
Jennifer Stein, MSPT, C/NDTA licensed Physical Therapist practicing in South Florida since 2001. She specializes in pediatric physical therapy with an emphasis on medically fragile children with developmental delays, neurological and orthopedic impairments, and traumatic brain injuries. She graduated from Florida International University with a masters of science in Physical Therapy and is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT). Jenn has been working at Kidz Korner since 2002 and is currently the supervisor of the Kidz Korner Therapy Department.
Amanda Judges, DPT, C/NDT
Amanda has been physical therapist at Kidz Korner since 2010. Amanda graduated from University of Miami with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She has been working with the pediatric population since graduating; specifically patients with neurological disorders, medically fragile and developmental delay. She was recently certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT).
Occupational Therapists
Julia DiGiano, MOT, OTR/L, C/NDTJulia has been an Occupational Therapist at Kidz Korner since 2013. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University with her Masters of Occupational Therapy, and is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT). She currently works with the pediatric population, and treats a variety of diagnoses including neurological impairments, developmental delay, and sensory processing disorders.
Caryn Weissblatt, MOT, OTR/L
Caryn has been an Occupational Therapist at Kidz Korner since 2012. She graduated from Florida International University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Caryn has been working with the pediatric population since graduating, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children with varying diagnoses including but not limited to: medically fragile, neurological impairments, sensory processing disorders and overall developmental delay.
Angela Tanner, COTA
Angela is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and Optometric Vision Therapist working at Kidz Korner since 2009. She specializes in neuro-visual rehabilitation, and handwriting remediation. She received her Occupational Therapy degree at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas. Angela has also been practicing both Occupational Therapy and Vision Therapy for 13 years.
Speech Therapists
Cindy B. Phillips, MS., CCC-SLP, C/NDTCindy has been a Speech Language Pathologist at Kidz Korner since its opening. Cindy graduated from Nova Southeastern University with her Masters in Speech and Language Pathology and has a certification in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT). She currently works with the pediatric population with an emphasis on medically fragile children with neurological disabilities. She specializes in feeding and swallowing disorders.
Kelly Steele, M.S., CCC-SLP, C/NDT
Kelly has been a Speech Language Pathologist at Kidz Korner since 2012. Kelly graduated from Florida Atlantic University with her Masters in Speech and Language Pathology and is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT). She currently works predominantly with the pediatric population treating varying diagnoses in all areas of speech and language communication.
Tyffani Mogg, M.A.,CCC-SLP, C/NDT
Tyffani has been a Speech Language Pathologist at Kidz Korner since 2012. Tyffani graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Masters in Communication Disorders and is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT). She currently works predominantly with the pediatric population addressing all areas of speech communication with patients with various diagnoses.
